Linda Morris - President of the Rotary Club of Mt Eliza
The Rotary Club of Mount Eliza has been serving the local community for over forty years.

In the 2011-12 year the Club will support a number of local initiatives including Mornington Peninsula Youth Enterprises, Peninsula Hospice, and Christmas Hampers for families in need during the festive season, as well as completing a major project in conjunction with Mornington Peninsula Shire at Howard Parker Reserve.

The Club is constantly looking for ways to assist our community, and further information is available on this web site.

The Club's affiliation with Rotary International offers the opportunity to contribute to many exciting national and international projects including:
  • National Youth Science Forum to inspire and encourage the Engineers and Scientists of the future

  • Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment to broaden the horizons of young people culturally, socially and academically

  • Polio Plus - Rotary's global polio eradication program

  • Support for a number of programs in East Timor, including a Primary School Teacher Training program in Bacau and health facilities in Lospalos
The club is only able to engage in so many diverse projects because of the great generosity of the Mount Eliza community. We greatly appreciate the tremendous support that we receive.

Linda Morris, President 2011-2012
